Active and prospective farmers facing market challenges and those seeking to venture into agribusiness will have an opportunity to interact with the captains’ of industry during this year’s Africa’s Agri-preneurs Summit.
The summit will be held at the Nairobi Hospital Convention Center from the 26th to 27th July with 28th being an agri-tour to some value adding farms in Isinya where farmers will get a chance to tour open field farms and green houses.
According to research published in the African Journal of Agriculture Research, 21 per cent of farmers were cited to lack market information and was one of the major constraints faced by agro-dealers.
In this, farmers will change their entire agribusiness life through a three-day training that will bring together all stakeholders in the agribusiness industry in Africa to not only share knowledge on the available market options but also train on key value addition ventures.
