In response to the increasing concerns and the urgency to ensure compliance on fresh produce production and supply value chains, Fresh Produce Consortium of Kenya (FPC Kenya), a trade association for fresh produce is inviting producers and traders for a one-day training on the maximum pesticide residue on beans and peas.
The training which will take place tomorrow, Tuesday 10th December 2019, from 8:00am at Kenya Agricultural & Livestock Research Organization’s (KALRO) Practical Training Centre (PTC) in Thinka will be at no cost to the attendants.
“We have recognized the importance and relevance of the role marketing agents, suppliers, brokers play in the agriculture value chain. Because of this, we have organised a one day pesticides and food safety training in relation with MRL’s in our beans and peas in pods for the producers and tradrs,” said Okisegere Ojepat, FPC Kenya CEO.
